When a family comes back to you, you almost form an unspoken friendship of sorts.
Last year the Fournier family came to one of my mini sessions in the autumn. I was ecstatic after meeting this family. They were down to earth, authentic and kind. I immediately felt like they were comfortable and I secretly hoped they would come back. When Alexandra e-mailed me this year, I smiled from ear to ear. And this time… they brought their dog!
Okay, maybe Josh wasn’t as excited about Ace, the puppy, but it gave me a good chuckle to see what probably looks like my family life from an outsider’s view. This is also probably why I adore the Fournier family so much!
They’re an amazingly photogenic family, and I don’t know if they know that. Well, they do now!
Baby Hensley made me work for any semblance of a smile. Little one was fighting allergies/a cold but you know what? That little glowing sunshine gave me one at the very end of our session! I didn’t care we were in the parking lot, mama was getting that shot!
Also, because I’m a realist, a mama, and my photography is lifestyle, I had to include the one blooper of baby Hensley throwing herself backward onto daddy’s lap dramatically because that’s life.
Happy Friday, my friends 🙂
